APD responds to hit-and-run crash on Garfield Ave in SE Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Albuquerque Police were called to a hit-and-run crash Monday morning in southeast Albuquerque’s University Heights area, reports APD Traffic.

The incident was reported at the intersection of Garfield Avenue Southeast and Columbia Drive Southeast. Officers arrived on the scene shortly before 11:17 a.m.

Few details have been disclosed, but the APD indicated a driver in a red Nissan Altima fled the scene of the crash.

It remains unclear at this time whether anyone was seriously injured.
