APD responds to fatal crash on Coors Blvd in NW Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — At least one person was fatally injured early Sunday due to a crash on Coors Boulevard in northwest Albuquerque, reports KOB4.

Albuquerque Police responded to the scene at St. Josephs Drive Northwest, in the city’s Vista Grande neighborhood. Dispatchers first received the call shortly before 1:27 a.m.

The circumstances behind the event remain unclear, but the intersection was shut down in all directions during the emergency response and initial investigation.


As of this writing, the department has not disclosed the cause of the wreck or details on the parties involved.
