APD responds to crash on San Mateo Blvd in McKinley area

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Albuquerque Police were called to a collision Wednesday afternoon on San Mateo Boulevard in northeast Albuquerque, according to APD Traffic.

The wreck took place at the intersection with Aztec Road Northeast, in the city’s McKinley neighborhood. Officers arrived on the scene shortly after 12:30 p.m.

At this time, the department has not released any information indicating the nature of the crash or the number of vehicles involved.

It remains unclear whether anyone sustained injuries and/or had to be taken to a hospital.
