APD responds to accident on I-40 EB near Netherwood Park

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Albuquerque Police were called to a collision Thursday afternoon on Interstate 40 near Albuquerque’s Netherwood Park area, reports APD Traffic.

The crash occurred on the eastbound interstate at Exit 160 to Carlisle Boulevard Northeast. Emergency dispatchers first received the call shortly before 1:31 p.m.

As of this writing, the APD has not disclosed the cause of the wreck or the number of vehicles impacted.


It was not immediately clear whether anyone was hurt or had to be taken to a hospital.
