ALBUQUERQUE, NM — One person was hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle Monday night in northeast Albuquerque, according to KOAT.
The incident unfolded at the intersection of Montaño Road and Culture Drive Northeast, near the Costco Wholesale store and just south of the city’s Vineyard area.
Officials have not released a statement indicating the circumstances of the event, but the pedestrian was rushed to a local hospital where they were listed in critical condition.
The intersection and immediate areas were shut down during the emergency response and investigation, which remains ongoing.
No information about the victim or the driver has been made available at this time, and no pending charges have been reported.
