ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Albuquerque Police responded to a fatal collision Saturday evening on Palomas Drive in southeast Albuquerque, reports KOB4.
Officers were called to the scene near the intersection with Eastern Avenue Southeast, in the city’s South San Pedro neighborhood.
The circumstances behind the crash remain unclear at this time, but officials said one person was found deceased on the street. At this time, the department has not confirmed whether the victim was a pedestrian or an occupant in a vehicle.
An investigation by the Albuquerque Police Department’s Motors Unit remains ongoing.
