APD called to injury crash on I-40 in Albuquerque’s Los Volcanes

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Injuries were reported early Wednesday after a vehicle accident on Interstate 40 in northwest Albuquerque, reports APD Traffic.

Albuquerque Police were called to the scene on the eastbound interstate at Coors Boulevard Northwest (Exit 155), in the city’s Los Volcanes neighborhood. Dispatchers first received the call shortly before 12:42 a.m.

It was unclear what led up to the accident, but all eastbound lanes in the area were shut down during the emergency response.

As of this writing, officials have disclosed the conditions of those hurt.
