APD called to collision on I-25 NB near Jefferson Commons

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Albuquerque Police were dispatched to a vehicle crash Tuesday morning on Interstate 25 in northeast Albuquerque, according to APD Traffic.

The accident happened on the northbound lanes of I-25 at Exit 229 to Jefferson Street Northeast, in the Jefferson Commons area. Officers responded to the scene shortly after 8:33 a.m.

At this time, the department has not provided information indicating the cause of the wreck or the types of vehicles involved.


It was not immediately clear whether anyone was seriously injured and/or transported to a hospital.
