APD called to accident on Coors Blvd in SW Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Albuquerque Police responded to a crash New Year’s Day on Coors Boulevard in southwest Albuquerque, according to APD Traffic.

The collision took place on the northbound lanes at Central Avenue Southwest, in the city’s Alamosa neighborhood. Officers arrived on the scene at around 6:30 p.m.

It was not immediately clear what caused the crash, but a section of northbound Coors Boulevard was blocked in the area, and traffic was re-routed to westbound Central Avenue.


At this time, the department has not confirmed any injuries in the event.
