Alleged impaired driver fatally collides with another vehicle on Mechem Dr

RUIDOSO, NM – According to KOAT, a suspected impaired driver caused a deadly crash on Mechem Dr on Tuesday.

Jadyn Mow, 22, was heading north on Mehem Dr when he strayed into the southbound lanes and collided head-on with a vehicle driven by George Fitzgibbon, 46,  around 9:50 p.m.

Rescue crews pronounced Fitzgibbon dead at the scene.

Authorities determined Mow was impaired and arrested him after treating him for minor injuries.

The New Mexico State Police is investigating the incident.

Wreck blocks traffic on I-10 in Las Cruces

LAS CRUCES, NM – An auto accident disrupted traffic on I-10 EB near mile marker 136 on Thursday, according to NMRoads.

First responders were called to the scene around 7:16 a.m.

Officials have not provided additional details.

Crash reported near Snow Heights

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to KKOB Trafic, a wreck was reported on I-40 between Wyoming Blvd NE and Louisiana Blvd NE on Wednesday.

The incident happened around 3:29 p.m.

It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the collision.
