Albuquerque police investigating fatal collision involving pedestrian

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A fatal collision involving a pedestrian in northeast Albuquerque is under investigation, according to KRQE.

Albuquerque Community Safety responders were called to the area of San Pedro Drive and Lomas Boulevard on Feb. 3 at about 4:30 a.m. They found a man injured on the ground in a parking lot. He told the responders he had been struck by a vehicle.

The man was pronounced dead after being taken to an area hospital. The Albuquerque Police Department’s Fatal Crash Unit is conducting the investigation into the incident.

Accident shuts down stretch of I-10 in Las Cruces area

LAS CRUCES, NM – An accident shut down a stretch of Interstate 10 in the Las Cruces area on Saturday morning.

According to a post on NMRoads at 7:09 a.m., the crash happened on I-10 westbound at mile marker 127, in the area of Corralitos Road.

All westbound traffic was diverted off the interstate onto the frontage road while the scene was being cleared.

Lanes closed on northbound Coors Boulevard due to crash

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Sheriff’s deputies responded to a crash in Albuquerque on Saturday night, according to a traffic alert from the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.

The advisory issued shortly after 9 p.m. stated that the incident occurred on northbound Coors Boulevard in the area of Blake Road.

The northbound turning lane and number two lane of northbound Coors at Blake were closed during the accident response.
