SAN JUAN COUNTY, NM — Emergency crews responded to a collision Thursday night on U.S. Highway 64 near Kirtland, reports NM Roads.
The crash was reported on the westbound lanes at mile marker 42, shortly before 10:05 p.m.
Few details have been released at this time, but as of 2:30 p.m. the next day, the road remained closed, suggesting a major accident.
Officials said crews were working to clear the wreckage as soon as possible. Motorists were urged to find alternate routes around the area.
No injuries have been reported.
