Accident shuts down NM-333 at NM-337 in Tijeras

BERNALILLO COUNTY, NM — Deputies responded to a collision Thursday evening on New Mexico State Road 333 in central Tijeras, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash happened at the intersection with New Mexico State Road 337, just south of the Interstate 40 eastbound offramp. BCSO officials arrived on the scene shortly before 7:36 p.m.

At this time, the sheriff’s office has not disclosed the cause of the wreck or the number of vehicles involved, but the intersection was blocked in all directions in the immediate aftermath.

By 8:30 p.m., nearly an hour later, the scene had been cleared and the intersection was reopened to traffic.


No injuries have been confirmed as of this writing.
