Accident reported on I-40 WB near Albuquerque’s Mesa Village

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Albuquerque Police were called to a crash Friday morning on Interstate 40 near east Albuquerque, according to APD Traffic.

The accident was reported on the westbound interstate at Wyoming Boulevard Northeast (Exit 164), near the city’s Mesa Village neighborhood. Dispatchers first received the call shortly before 10:34 a.m.

It was not immediately clear what led up to the crash or how many vehicles were involved.


Authorities have not shared any details regarding potential injuries at this time.
