BERNALILLO COUNTY, NM — BCSO deputies responded to a vehicle crash Friday morning on Interstate 40 near Carnuel, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident happened on the eastbound lanes at mile marker 170, about half a mile from the intersection with Coyote Springs Road Southeast. Dispatchers first received the call shortly before 8:35 a.m.
Few details have been provided, but at the time of the report, authorities had all eastbound traffic reduced to just two lanes.
Motorists were advised to reduce speed and be aware of weather conditions in the area.
