ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Authorities were called to a crash Thursday morning on Interstate 40 at Interchange 25 (Big I) near downtown Albuquerque, reports NMRoads511.
The collision took place on the eastbound interstate at mile marker 159, in the Santa Barbara-Martineztown neighborhood. Dispatchers first received the call at around 6:58 a.m.
Details remain limited, but the roadway was at least partially blocked for more than an hour.

At 8:26 a.m., almost 90 minutes later, the scene was announced cleared from the roadway.
