ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Authorities were called to a crash Friday afternoon on Interstate 40 in northeast Albuquerque, according to NM Roads.
The collision occurred on westbound I-40 at mile marker 162, near San Mateo Boulevard, in the Quigley Park area. It was first recorded in the NM Roads map index at 2:28 p.m.
Motorists were asked to approach the scene with extra caution, as two right westbound lanes were shut down in the immediate aftermath. Delays were anticipated in the area.
As of this writing, no information regarding the cause of the accident or the involved vehicles has been provided.
