BERNALILLO COUNTY, NM — BCSO deputies responded to a vehicle crash Thursday evening on Interstate 40 near east Tijeras, reports the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
The wreck occurred on the eastbound interstate at Exit 181 to New Mexico State Road 333, near Route 66 Sedillo Hill Travel Center. It was first reported by authorities shortly after 6:00 p.m.
It was unclear what caused the crash, but all eastbound traffic was reduced to two lanes during the emergency response.
