ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A collision Wednesday afternoon blocked two right lanes on Interstate 25 in south Albuquerque, reports NMRoads511.
The wreck took place on the southbound interstate approaching Bobby Foster Road (mile marker 219), in the city’s Mountain View neighborhood. It was first reported shortly before 12:42 a.m.
It remains unclear at this time what circumstances led up to the event or how many vehicles were involved.
The center lane was blocked after the first report, but the closure upgraded to two right lanes shortly after.

By 1:35 p.m., nearly an hour later, the roadway was reopened.
