GRANT COUNTY, NM — Emergency crews were called to a collision Tuesday afternoon on New Mexico State Road 90 near White Signal, according to the New Mexico Department of Transportation.
The crash occurred at milepost 20, north of the intersection with Gold Gulch Road and northeast of the Lordsburg area. It was first reported by NMDOT at 2:47 p.m.
Officials have not disclosed what caused the wreck, but part of the highway was shut down as emergency vehicles arrived on the scene. Motorists were instructed to slow down and use extra caution when approaching the area. Delays were expected.
