Accident closes part of eastbound Roy Ave in NE Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A vehicle wreck was reported Monday morning off Interstate 25 in northeast Albuquerque’s Wildflower Area, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to the scene at the intersection with Interstate 25 some time before 9:04 a.m.

Little information has been made available, but all eastbound lanes of Roy Avenue (New Mexico State Road 556) were blocked, along with the onramp to southbound I-25.

As of this writing, the sheriff’s office has not disclosed the circumstances of the accident or any details about the involved vehicles.
