ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A right lane and right shoulder were blocked on Interstate 40 Friday morning in northeast Albuquerque due to a crash, according to NM Roads.
The collision occurred on the westbound side of I-40 at Exit 159C to northbound I-25 (Big I). It was first recorded in the NM Roads map index at 10:56 a.m.
Officials have not said what led up to the accident, but the right westbound lane and shoulder was closed in the immediate aftermath.
By 12:00 p.m., over an hour later, the incident had been closed.
It remains unclear how many vehicles were involved and whether anyone was injured.
