ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A collision Wednesday morning blocked a right lane and right shoulder on Interstate 40 near central Albuquerque, according to NM Roads.
The wreck was reported on the eastbound interstate at Exit 157A to Rio Grande Boulevard, in the city’s West Old Town area. Dispatchers first received the call shortly before 8:39 a.m.
Authorities have not disclosed details on the cause of the crash or the vehicles involved, but the scene remained on the roadway for nearly an hour.
