ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A vehicle crash was reported late Thursday morning on Interstate 25 near northeast Albuquerque’s Vineland neighborhood, reports NM Roads.
The collision occurred on the southbound interstate near Montgomery Boulevard Northeast (Exit 228), shortly before 11:41 a.m.
Officials did not say what led up to the wreck or how many vehicles were involved, but a right lane and right shoulder were shut down during the emergency response.
The closure remained in place for at least an hour, indicating a major accident. Delays were expected in the area.
It was not immediately clear whether anyone was injured.
