
BERNALILLO COUNTY, NM — A vehicle crash Thursday morning closed a right lane and shoulder on Interstate 40 near northeast Tijeras, according to NMRoads511.
The collision took place on the westbound interstate at mile marker 180, in an area about 10 miles east of Albuquerque. It was first recorded by NM Roads at 8:14 a.m.
Officials have not said what led up to the accident, but the right lane and shoulder stayed blocked for just over 30 minutes.

By 8:45 a.m., crews had cleared the scene and the entire roadway was reopened to motorists.
