QUAY COUNTY, NM — A collision was reported early Saturday evening on U.S. Highway 54, about three miles northeast of Tucumcari, reports NMRoads511.
The crash impacted the northbound highway at mile marker 307, south of Quay County Road AI. It was first reported by dispatchers shortly before 5:09 p.m.
As a result of the wreck, the right lane and right shoulder were blocked and remained closed for nearly two hours.
