ALBUQUERQUE, NM — A vehicle crash was reported Tuesday morning on Interstate 40 near The University of New Mexico in northeast Albuquerque, reports NMRoads511.
The wreck took place on the eastbound interstate between University Boulevard Northeast and Carlisle Boulevard Northeast, in the Netherwood Wood Park area. Dispatchers first received the call shortly before 8:57 a.m.
It was unclear what led up to the collision, but a right lane and right shoulder were closed as a result.
