ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Deputies responded to a multi-vehicle crash Wednesday morning on Interstate 25 in south Albuquerque, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident occurred on the northbound side of I-25 past Rio Bravo Boulevard Southeast (New Mexico State Road 500), in an area just southwest of the Albuquerque International Sunport. Deputies arrived on the scene shortly before 7:15 a.m.
Details are limited, but as many as five vehicles were involved in a wreck that left three northbound lanes blocked.

At 8:34 a.m., over an hour later, the scene had been cleared from the roadway all lanes were reopened to the public.
The department has not indicated the cause of the crash, the number of vehicles involved, or any potential injuries as of this writing.
