4 injured, including 3 children, in Albuquerque multi-vehicle wreck

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Four people injured in a multi-vehicle accident near the Big I in Albuquerque on Wednesday afternoon, according to KOAT.

New Mexico State Police said a total of four vehicles were involved in the wreck, which occurred in the vicinity of the Interstate 40 and Interstate 25 interchange.

An adult and three juveniles were transported to an area hospital with injuries that were not reported to be life-threatening.

The crash shut down all eastbound lanes of I-40 through the area, and drivers were advised to expect heavy delays.

I-25 reduced to one lane in San Felipe area due to crash

SAN FELIPE, NM – The New Mexico Department of Transportation advised drivers of a crash affecting traffic along a portion of Interstate 25 on Thursday afternoon.

According to an alert on NMRoads at 4:25 p.m., the accident took place on I-25 southbound at mile marker 252 in the San Felipe area.

The interstate was reduced to one lane in the area as emergency crews worked to clear the roadway. Motorists were urged to slow down and use caution until all lanes could be reopened.

Fatal vehicle vs. pedestrian accident reported in Burnham

BURNHAM, NM – A pedestrian fatality was reported in Burnham, New Mexico late Monday night.

The Navajo Police Department issued a traffic alert regarding what it said was a vehicle vs. pedestrian incident at about 8 p.m. It occurred on State Route 371 at mile post 84, south of Navajo Route 5. No information was released about the person who was killed.

Lanes were closed in both directions while the police department Shiprock District worked the scene. East and westbound lanes were reopened at 9:41 p.m.
