ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Two people were critically injured last Friday in a motorcycle crash near east Albuquerque’s Fair Heights neighborhood, reports KRQE.
The accident happened at Lomas Boulevard Northeast and San Mateo Boulevard Northeast on June 17.
It was unclear what led up to the collision, but Albuquerque Police confirmed two people were rushed to a hospital with critical injuries.
Several travel lanes were shut down as emergency crews responded to the scene. The public was asked to detour around the area to avoid delays.
An investigation into the cause of the crash was in progress.
