2 hurt in single-vehicle crash near Tobacco Farm in South Valley

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to KOAT, two people were hurt in a single-vehicle rollover collision at eastbound Rio Bravo Boulevard Southwest and southbound Isleta Boulevard Southwest on Monday.

First responders transported two people from the wrecked car to an area hospital. Both victims suffered head injuries, and one of them had broken bones.

Following the accident, crews shut down the area to process the scene.

Officials have not released the victims’ names

Driver becomes pinned under semi-truck following fiery Interstate 40 crash

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – A driver crashed into and became trapped under a semi-truck on Interstate Sunday morning, according to KOAT.

A vehicle was stuck under a semi-truck after a collision Sunday morning on Interstate 40, an Albuquerque Fire Rescue news release said.

The driver slammed into the truck before it caught on fire around 8:30 a.m.

Crews extinguished the fire and extricated the two occupants in 12 minutes.

Right after the first collision, another driver was hurt in a rollover collision about 50 yards from the semi-truck wreck.

First responders transported all three victims to an area hospital. Their current conditions are unknown.

Deputies investigate fatal rollover wreck on Interstate 40 near Sunset Ranch

SUNSET RANCH, NM – According to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office, deputies are investigating a deadly rollover crash on Interstate 40 near mile marker 140 on Sunday.

Two people died in the collision.

Officials posted about the incident around 1:11 p.m.

The crash shut down all eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 and all but one lane of westbound Interstate 40.
