2 dead in motorcycle collision in southwest Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to AOL, two people died in a deadly motorcycle collision in southwest Albuquerque Monday night.

A motorcyclist heading south on 98th Street slammed into the driver’s side door of a Honda Odyssey as the car entered the intersection of 98th Street and Rio Clara Avenue at around 8:40 p.m.

The motorcyclist and driver died in the collision.

Officials have not released the victims’ names.

The Albuquerque Police Department’s Fatal Crash Unit is investigating the incident.

1 hurt in rollover collision in Sunland Park

SUNLAND PARK, NM – A person was hurt in a rollover collision in Sunland Park Sunday night, according to KTSM.

Two drivers collided at Pete Domenici Highway and McNutt Road at around 10 p.m. The impact caused one of the vehicles to roll over onto its roof.

First responders transported one person to an area hospital with minor injuries. Two other patients refused transport.

Officials have not released the victims’ names.

Emergency crews respond to collision on Interstate 10 near Gage

GAGE, NM – According to NMRoads, first responders were called to a car accident on Interstate 10 near Gage Tuesday morning.

Dispatchers received calls concerning an automobile collision near mile marker 61 of Interstate 10 at around 6:46 a.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
