ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Two people were killed early Wednesday due to a collision near ABQ BioPark Botanic Garden in northwest Albuquerque, reports KOAT.
The fatal crash happened at the intersection of Central Avenue Southwest and Tingley Drive Southwest, in the city’s West Park neighborhood.
It was not immediately clear what caused the accident, but responding officers discovered two people had died from their injuries at the scene.
One other occupant suffered undisclosed injuries and was transported to an area hospital. Officials have not released any details on their condition.
The case was referred to the Albuquerque Police Department’s homicide unit due to early findings in the investigation.
