ALBUQUERQUE, NM — One person suffered critical injuries Friday morning due to a wreck on Interstate 25 in south Albuquerque, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident happened on the southbound highway at Rio Bravo Boulevard, near University of New Mexico Championship Golf Course in the San Jose area. Deputies arrived on the scene shortly before 5:30 a.m.
First responders had one person rushed to a University of New Mexico Hospital where the patient was listed in critical condition.

All southbound lanes were shut down during the response but were reopened by 9:06 a.m., more than three hours later.
