ALBUQUERQUE, NM — One person died Tuesday night after a vehicle overturned on University Boulevard Southeast in south Albuquerque, reports the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies with the BCSO responded to the scene near the intersection with Rio Bravo Boulevard Southeast, south of Albuquerque International Sunport. Dispatchers first received the call shortly before 9:11 p.m.
The circumstances behind the wreck remain unclear at this time, but medics pronounced one person deceased at the scene.
Officials did not say whether anyone else was injured.
All northbound lanes of University Boulevard were shut down as first responders worked the area.
