
ALBUQUERQUE, NM — Deputies responded to a fatal crash late Monday involving a pedestrian on Frontage Road Southwest in west Albuquerque, reports the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials arrived on the scene near Atrisco Vista Boulevard, off Interstate 40 in the city’s Westland Row neighborhood. Dispatchers first received the call shortly before 11:23 p.m.
The circumstances behind the incident were not immediately clear, but the sheriff’s office confirmed one person died as a result of their injuries.
The intersection was shut down as deputies investigated.
