ALBUQUERQUE, NM — One person died Wednesday as a result of a two-vehicle collision in west Albuquerque’s Los Volcanes area, reports KRQE.
Albuquerque Police responded to the scene on a stretch of Unser Boulevard over Interstate 40 in the late afternoon.
Authorities have not disclosed details on the events leading up to the fatal wreck, but one person was pronounced deceased on the scene.
One other patient was transported to a nearby hospital, where the severity of their condition remains undisclosed.
