1 injured in collision on 2nd St SW near downtown Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — At least one person was hurt Thursday night due to a crash near Silver Street Market in east downtown Albuquerque, reports APD Traffic.

Albuquerque Police were called to the scene at the corner of 2nd Street Southwest and Silver Avenue Southwest, in the Raynolds Addition area. Dispatchers first received the call shortly before 8:05 p.m.

No details have been provided regarding the events leading up to the wreck, but the intersection was blocked during the emergency response.


At this time, officials have not confirmed the number of people injured or the extent of their injuries.
