
ALBUQUERQUE, NM — One person was sent to a hospital Saturday morning after a rollover wreck on San Mateo Boulevard in northeast Albuquerque, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.
The collision occurred on the northbound lanes at Montgomery Boulevard Northeast, in an area between Montgomery Plaza and Del Norte High School. It was first reported by the BCSO shortly before 12:00 p.m.
While the circumstances of the accident were not immediately shared, one person who suffered unknown injuries was transported to University of New Mexico Hospital (UNMH).
Officials said a BCSO deputy was involved in the incident, but was not reported hurt.
Motorists were asked to find alternate routes as all northbound lanes of San Mateo Boulevard were closed in the area.

By 5:00 p.m., over five hours later, the scene was announced cleared and all lanes were reopened to the public.
