1 hospitalized after crash on Paseo del Norte Blvd in north Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — One person was sent to a hospital Saturday morning after a collision on Paseo del Norte Boulevard in north Albuquerque, reports the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.

The wreck took place on the eastbound lanes (New Mexico State Road 423) approaching Rio Grande Boulevard, in the Almaden Valley area. Deputies responded to the scene shortly before 10:43 a.m.

Officials have not said what caused the accident, but first responders transported one patient to a local hospital. No information on their condition has been disclosed.

All eastbound traffic was reduced to just two open lanes during the response, causing delays in the area.
