1 dead in motorcycle accident in west Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to ABQ Raw, one person died in a fatal motorcycle crash in west Albuquerque Tuesday morning.

A male was riding a white Harley-Davidson motorcycle south on 98th Street at high speeds when he ran a red light at 98th Street Northwest and Avalon Road Northwest and slammed into a blue semi-truck around 7 a.m.

First responders pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene.

Officials have not released the victim’s name.

Authorities believe speed was a contributing factor in the collision.

Emergency crews respond to crash near Hachita

HACHITA, NM – First responders were called to the scene of an accident on New Mexico 81 near Hachita Wednesday morning, according to NMRoads.

Dispatchers received calls concerning a collision on New Mexico 81 near mile marker 45 around 7:03 a.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.



Auto accident disrupts traffic near Bingham

BINGHAM, NM – According to NMRoads, a collision on US 380 near Bingham blocked traffic Wednesday morning.

Emergency crews responded to the incident around 7:25 a.m.

Officials have not provided more details.
