1 dead in collision that closes down Interstate 40 in Altura Village

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to KOAT, at least one person died in a crash on Interstate 40 westbound between San Mateo Boulevard Northeast and Carlisle Boulevard Northeast Tuesday afternoon.

The accident occurred around 2:40 p.m.

Following the wreck, crews shut down the area to process the scene. The area was reopened around 5:30 p.m.

The Albuquerque Police Department and the New Mexico State Police are investigating the incident.

Accident in north Albuquerque blocks multiple lanes on Paseo Del Norte Boulevard Northeast

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Deputies were called to a collision at Paseo Del Norte Boulevard Northeast eastbound and 2nd Street Northwest Tuesday evening, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials posted about the crash around 5:09 p.m.

The cause of the wreck is under investigation.

Crash brings traffic to a standstill on Interstate 25 in downtown Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – According to KKOB Traffic, a collision disrupted traffic at Interstate 25 southbound and Avenida Cesar Chavez Tuesday evening.

The accident blocked the right lane around 5:28 p.m.

It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the incident.
