ALBUQUERQUE, NM — One person died Saturday afternoon after a rollover collision in Albuquerque’s Las Lomita area, according to KOB4.
Albuquerque Police said the fatal wreck occurred on Unser Boulevard near Tierra Pintada Boulevard Northwest, just north of Interstate 40. Officers responded to the scene at around 3:30 p.m.
The circumstances of the accident have not been specified, but authorities confirmed one person died from their injuries at the scene.
One other person was transported to a local hospital with injuries considered non-life-threatening.
Motorists were instructed to avoid the scene and find alternate routes during the emergency response.
An investigation was in progress.
