1 critically hurt in pedestrian crash on Montgomery Blvd in NE Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM — One person was critically hurt Friday morning when they were hit by a car on Montgomery Boulevard in northeast Albuquerque, according to KOB.

The incident occurred at Carlisle Boulevard, in the city’s Montgomery Heights neighborhood. Albuquerque Police responded to the scene at about 10:00 a.m.

Authorities have not released details regarding the circumstances behind the event, but the pedestrian was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition.

The driver stayed behind at the scene and cooperated with an investigation. At this time, no pending charges or citations have been reported.

Motorists were advised of possible traffic delays in the area.
