Housed within the University of New Mexico Center for the Arts, Popejoy Hall is the premier performing arts venue within the state. Popejoy Presents is their signature series of live performance events, including touring Broadway productions, dance performances, and music ranging from classical and jazz to music and performances from various ethnic traditions. Highlights of this year include touring productions of Les Misérables, The King and I, and Wicked.

In addition to live performances, Popejoy Hall hosts renowned speakers from a variety of disciplines and provides space and support for many other programs. Popejoy Hall shares space with Rodey Theatre, Keller Hall, Experimental Theater “X,” and University Art Museum. Each of these institutions contributes to a vibrant arts and culture scene here in Albuquerque.

Popejoy Hall strives to reach at-risk and underserved segments of the community that might otherwise lack the opportunity to enjoy the arts. Popejoy Hall administers and manages one of the largest theater arts and education programs in the nation for school-aged children. Low-income seniors are also provided with numerous opportunities to enjoy performances at Popejoy Hall.
