ALBUQUERQUE, NM – One person was killed and at least two others injured in a single-vehicle crash in Bernalillo County on Sunday afternoon, KRQE reports.
The incident happened on Interstate 40 near mile mile marker 138 west of Albuquerque at about 3:30 p.m. The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office said one woman was ejected and was pronounced dead, while another woman was pinned inside the vehicle.
Rescue crews extricated a man who also injured and transported him to UNM Hospital in Albuquerque. All lanes of Interstate 40 were closed in both directions following the crash.
