News: Albuquerque police investigating fatal pedestrian accident

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Police in Albuquerque responded to a fatal pedestrian accident on Friday evening, KRQE reported.

Officers said a female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle that was making a turn from San Pedro Drive onto Indian School Road.  The victim, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead after being taken to an area hospital.

Investigators do not believe speed or alcohol were contributing factors in the incident.
