DONA ANA, NM – One person was killed in a pedestrian accident in Dona Ana County Friday night, according to KFOX 14.
The victim was struck by a car in the area of Dona Ana Road and Kristin Drive shortly before 9 p.m., the Dona Ana County Sheriff said. The identity of the pedestrian was not released.
KVIA reported it was one of two fatal crashes in the county within 24 hours that were blamed on distracted driving.
