ALBUQUERQUE, NM – The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office tweeted that it was responding to a fatal crash in southwest Albuquerque on Monday morning.
The incident involved three motorcycles, and was reported shortly before 5 a.m. No details were immediately released on the fatality, but the sheriff’s office said two of the motorcycle riders were taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Both directions of Dennis Chavez between Atrisco Vista and 118th, along with both directions of Atrisco Vista are all closed at this time due to a fatal crash involving three motorcycles. Two riders are being transported for non life-threatening injuries.

Dennis Chavez Boulevard was shut down in both directions between Atrisco Vista Boulevard and 118th Street after the accident. Atrisco Vista Boulevard was also closed in both directions.
