Parnall Law Presents Music Under the Stars

Parnall Law is proud to be the presenting sponsor for one of the summer’s coolest events, New Mexico’s 3rd Annual Music Under the Stars on Friday, September 6, 2019. With 360° views, great music, local beverages, and food, it’s sure to be a great event!

The event will feature music from local artists Sadé Munirah and Burque Sol. Sadé Munirah is an R&B/soul singer-songwriter, who recently released her debut album “You Told Me To.” Burque Sol is a group of Burqueños with a high desert reggae-driven sound that fuses elements of blues, Latin, and soul.

Along with these great musical acts, you can enjoy tastings from local restaurants Savor, Chello Grill, and The Daily Grind, with dessert from Pizza 9, brews from Dialogue Brewing, wine from Sheehan Winery, and spirits from Safe House Distilling Co.

All proceeds from the event will go directly to the Grief Resource Center and the Children’s Grief Center of New Mexico. These local community organizations support people of all ages —children, teens, and young adults (ages 5-25) as well as adults – after the death of a loved one.

The Grief Resource Center provides short-term counseling and support services for anyone who may be grieving for multiple reasons. These can include the death of a loved one, serious health matters, divorce, loss of a job, other major life transitions, and more.

Services include:

• Diverse support groups
• Small group workshops and educational programs
• Community enrichment program opportunities

The Children’s Grief Center helps young people overcome the pitfalls of childhood bereavement by offering an age-appropriate venue in which to process their feelings and the effects of death on their family. Children’s Grief Center offers peer support groups in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, as well as a variety of short-term services at locations including Camp Corazon. Families are never charged for taking advantage of the center’s services. These organizations are the only ones of their kind in Central New Mexico.
